A very comfortable overnight stay in beautifully appointed rooms and garden. Karen and Graham have a keen eye for design and comfort. Dinner and breakfast were excellenty prepared by Karen. Karen and Graham are friendly and accommodating hosts with time to chat. They take a lot of pride in their work. Highly recommended.
This accomodation is so beautifully presented, with gorgeous decor and cosy rooms to relax in during our stay. The room we stayed in was so very comfortable and the included breakfast was perfect And being able to enjoying breakfast in the morning with such a gorgeous view of the gardens is something special. I highly recommend exploring afterwards as a great way to start your day. What made this stay additionally special was that our host Graham took the time to provide us recommendations of places to also visit along our travel route, a true host that goes above and beyond. Would highly recommend staying here as a base to venture around the area. Thank you Graham and everyone involved in ensuring we had such a fabulous stay.
We stayed for 1 night on 16 November 2025 and wish it could have been longer. The property was absolutely stunning. Karen and Graham were perfect hosts, and just could not have done any more to make our stay a perfect one. The breakfast room was beautiful and the choice offered was cooked to perfection.
Even if Alyth is not your initial destination, it is worth going out of your way to stay here. The rooms are luxurious and the quailty of the food is excellent. Parking is available on site. Your hosts are warm and welcoming and exceptionally knowledgeable about local points of interest and places you may wish to visit.
We had a great stay with Graham and Karen last week while in Scotland. They have a beautiful place and the rooms are all superbly decorated. Karen’s egg benedict was one of the best I’ve ever had! Graham was such a great host in finding out what our touring interests were and giving us some great stop off places to see beautiful nature and animals, and some great walks and scenery. Places we would not have known about if he had not taken the time. We would definitely stay here again! They really seem to care for their guests and the Scotland experience!!
The hotel was wonderful, with beautifully curated décor and attention to every detail. The owners were warm, thoughtful and always ready to help – it truly felt like being at home. Breakfast was delicious, served with a lovely view of the garden. I even want to try making that compote at home! The scent throughout the house transported you to a magical place, and the cleanliness was exceptional. They also have cozy lounges with fireplaces where you can enjoy a drink after a long day exploring the magical castles of Scotland. We will definitely return, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional and peaceful place to stay during their holidays.
We just spent a wonderful night at the Tigh Na Leigh Guest House where everything exceeded expectations. The hotel's interior has been very tastefully decorated to a very high standard, with lots of beautiful artwork. The owners have a real flair for interior design and have given attention to every detail. Our room was very spacious and luxurious. We had a lovely sitting area and large ensuite. Downstairs there are two lovely lounge areas with an honesty bar. The dining area overlooks the beautiful garden with a fish pond. The garden is open to guests to walk around and sit in. A fantastic breakfast was included in the price of the room and we also thoroughly enjoyed a very tasty and well cooked evening meal. Evening meals aren't served every night of the week, but there are other places to eat in Alyth. This was our first visit to Alyth. It is a very nice village with lovely walks. We did a section of the Cateran Trail to Blairgowerie and get the bus back. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!
The host, Graham, is welcoming and lovely! We completely enjoyed our stay there and felt well looked after. His wife presented a well prepared, delicious breakfast. Be sure to walk through their beautiful gardens and visit the chickens!
